Well, I am doubting that anyone is reading because I skipped a day and no one said anything! But, I'm doing this to help my relationship with God, and to learn more about Him, so I will just keep on going!
Chapter 3 Verses 1-9
It looks like Paul is talking to the Corinthians about divisions in the church. They are arguing about who they "follow". Well, it seems to me, that if you are following a human, that is a recipe for disaster! He is saying that no human can make your faith grow, but only God can! Each of us has the job to "plant the seed, and water the seed" and that is fine, but no one should follow us because of it! Honestly, I can't hold myself up as an example of anything great! I am a flawed person, and wouldn't want anyone to say they follow me! I would, however, hope that I can do my job and plant the seed of faith in Jesus Christ in those who see me. I hope that by my words and actions people will see HIM and not me! I know I will stumble, but it is by His GRACE that I am still unconditionally accepted as His child! It's awesome and inspiring to know that!
