Can you read people's minds? I didn't think so! We can look at others and guess by their actions and facial expressions what they might be feeling, but we don't know. In the same way we don't know God's thoughts. That is, unless the Spirit of God is within us. Once again, it's total simplicity. If you just simply can't understand God's word or God's Will then you need God/Jesus/Holy Spirit in your life! You can receive understanding through His Word, through other believers (I have had that happen and it rocks!!), and through prayer(which by the way shouldn't always be about asking for things, but should also include praising Him and asking for forgiveness for the things we have done wrong as well as listening for Him). When I read this I am pretty pumped that I have the mind of Christ within me! (Also a little nervous, because, let's face it my thoughts aren't always very pleasant!) But thankfully, I know without a doubt that I am His child.
I am loving this study of 1 Corinthians! I hope you are, too! Please post thoughts, I would love to know someone is reading this, but will still keep doing it even if no one is reading!
